Ben primarily handles matters involving business and commercial litigation and serious personal injury claims.

Ben has been admitted to practice law in the states of Missouri and Kansas. Federal courts include: U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit,
U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas
Education, Professional Associations and Recognition:
Ben received his Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of Montana. He attended law school at the University of Kansas, graduating in 2004. During law school, Ben served as Editor-in-Chief of the Kansas Law Review, and at graduation he was honored with the Justice Lloyd Kagey Award for distinguished service in the law school. He is a member of the Order of the Coif.
Ben is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the St. Joseph Bar Association. Ben is also a member of the the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Personal Information:
Ben has been practicing with the firm since he graduated from law school in 2004. He is married to Erin and has two daughters, Isabelle and Ella Mae. Ben and his family are active in their church, McCarthy Baptist Church in St. Joseph, where Ben serves as a deacon. Ben was born in Springfield, Illinois, but grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina before heading west for college and law school. In his spare time, he enjoys reading history, biographies and southern literature, mainly Faulkner, and spending time with his family.
