Michael L. Taylor is a native of Blue Springs, Missouri and was born on November 2, 1954. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 1979. Mike received his law degree in 1982 from the University of Kansas. Mike received the Lon Hocker Memorial Trial Lawyer Award in 1989 for his outstanding litigation skills and results. Mike is very involved in the community, his church and has served on many local charitable boards. Mike and his wife Janet reside in St. Joseph with their three children.

Ken received his law degree cum laude in 1993 from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Ken is very active in the community as an officer and volunteer with the Pony Express Council of the Boy Scouts of America, as a volunteer at his church and as a youth coach. Ken and his wife Sarah reside in St. Joseph with their two children.
